Herbal Vines Wines is an exclusive premium wine label founded in Chicago in 2019 by owner Damon Russell. The idea of Herbal Vines was first brought to light in 2016 from his love of wine. After years of going through the licensing process, Herbal Vines was born. In August of 2022 Herbal Vines's first wine 89 Halsted was produced. Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, for years it's been a goal of his to own a wine label.

89 Halsted is Herbal Vines's first wine and it's a tribute to his family's roots in Chicago. Damon's grandparents purchased their family home 70-plus years ago on 89th and Halsted. Today their family home is still standing strong and they have strong ties to the neighborhood. Produced in Napa Valley, Herbal Vines's focus is to bring premium wine to the underrepresented African American community.
