Michael Goode and Levi Daniels are the founders of Hedon State Wines. Michael grew up in Richmond, VA and Levi grew up in Washington, DC. They met while attending college at Virginia Tech. After graduation, Michael and Levi pursued careers in strategic business analysis, solving cyber governance, information security, and risk management challenges for commercial and U.S government clients.

Later in their careers, they pursued a passion for all things wine and in 2018 started Hedon State, a wine experience and education company. Hedon State seeks to make wine more approachable for all who seek to engage. While on the journey to building the wine experience and education business, Michael and Levi also accepted the challenge of becoming winemakers. In 2021, they started Hedon State Wines. At Hedon State Wines, we focus on making approachable Virginia wines that appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes.
